Are Listing Referrals Slipping Through the Cracks?Have

You know that I am always talking about how important it is to be attacking your Sphere of Influence (SOI) on a daily basis?  It’s important to have a good CRM which is tasking EVERYONE in your SOI for a future date so that you’re contacting them all the time for referrals and not losing any referrals.

And one of the most important things to do with your SOI is not only to call everyone in your sphere constantly for referrals but also to BUILD your SOI as well.

And it’s so easy to do.  Just contact professionals in your area and say, “I am Agnes Moorehead with Poophouse Realty and I have heard great things about your work.  Would you mind if I stay in touch with your for referrals and send you my card?”

They always say yes.

Anyone who is working with clients that could have real estate is fair game.  CPAs, attorneys, insurance agents, etc.

And then you put them in your CRM, send NOT a card, but a nice Statement of Qualifications package (if you want to plagiarize mine, hit me up here) in a large envelope which will impress them and then call them every 3 months for referrals.

It’s cheap and easy (no, not like me) and a great way to build your SOI and have more people to ask for referrals.

Had a great call with a Collective member who gave me a good idea as well.  Why not use LinkedIn to get those names and contact info for professionals in your area?

So make calling AND building your SOI a priority every morning and don’t risk letting referrals slip through the cracks.
