I dare you to do one thing that scares you.
One thing next week to get a new listing.
I can bet that you know what you need to do to get one new listing next week and you just don’t want to do it.
Is it calling expireds? Is it door knocking? Is it calling probate attorneys? Is it calling your SOI?
I know this: There is something you know right now that you could do to get a listing and you don’t want to do it, because of fear, or making yourself look foolish, or you don’t have the time.
I know that you know what that one thing is.
So do this. Take the weekend to come up with a plan. Really think about what that one thing is you can do.
And then take that thing, that type of prospecting, and chop it into small bite-size tasks. Make them really small.
Want to call an expired listing? Then for your first task, find 3 of them you wanna call. Second task, find their phone numbers. Third task, get a script to use and practice it (let me know if you need one). You get the idea. Do one task each day.
And then call three expireds. Just three. Maybe one each day for the next 3 days.
When you break anything you fear doing down into super small tasks, it circumvents the fear in your brain. It doesn’t seem that hard. Or that daunting.
AND, with each task you complete and each call you make, you will gain more confidence and be more comfortable doing MORE of it.
What is the one thing you can do next week to get a listing that you can tackle?
