Happy April Fools Day!  If you’re reading this, you know that I am goofy and silly, but Momma didn’t raise no fool!  Ha!

Because I know one thing about the best way to get listings.

Have control over yourself.

“For a man to conquer himself is the first and noblest of all victories”—— Plato

This is one thing I know for sure.

The surest way to success, in however you define it, whether it’s more listings, more joy, more boyfriends, more money, more cars, more inner peace, etc is to conquer yourself.

And, I believe, this is the most difficult thing for all of us to do in life.

Tell me it isn’t so. 

For us to conquer our addictions, our doubts, our fears, our habits, our self-talk….these are all things that are difficult to do.

But when you conquer something important, something that you know isn’t good for you, how do you feel?  You feel elated.  You feel unstoppable.  You feel energized.  And for me, I feel joy.

And from that spot, you can do anything.

Full transparency, I have conquered many things in my life and I can tell you, firsthand, they weren’t easy.  Some were significant. Some were small.

For example, I have conquered cigarette addiction, drinking alcohol, fear of calling expireds, fear of working out consistently, fear of telling people how I feel, fear of calling probate attorneys, eating meat, among other things.

Conquering ourselves takes a lot of energy. It takes a lot of perseverance. 

But the rewards of productivity, satisfaction, listings, financial success and joy in your life are worth it all.

You will get more listings.

You will have more joy.
