Hope you had a great week! I was a total dumbass this week doing something I shouldn’t have been doing.
I was doing silly admin things to make myself feel productive. Oy vey!
As a real estate agent, your time is valuable and limited. It’s important to focus on activities that directly generate income for your business, rather than getting bogged down in tasks that don’t directly contribute to your bottom line (like alphabetizing your collection of novelty door knockers, for example).
It’s crucial to delegate and defer non-income producing activities whenever possible.
One way to do this is by hiring a virtual assistant or administrative assistant to handle tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing your email inbox, and updating your social media accounts (so you can finally stop pretending to be tech-savvy and just admit that you have no idea how to use hashtags).
This will free up your time to focus on activities that directly generate income, such as prospecting for new clients, showing properties, and negotiating deals.
Another option is to outsource certain tasks to specialized service providers. For example, rather than spending hours trying to create a halfway decent flyer on Microsoft Paint, you could hire a someone from Fiverr to handle these tasks for you.
This will allow you to focus on what you do best: selling real estate and making it look effortless (even though we all know it’s a ton of hard work).
Delegating and deferring non-income producing tasks will not only help you to be more productive and efficient, but it will also allow you to provide a higher level of service to your clients.
And most importantly, it will allow you to MAKE MORE MONEY!
