In a bad way.
He is spending thousands of dollars to get a few good listings.

Granted, his approach is working. But I measure success in a listing strategy by what your net income is, not your gross income (it’s not what you get, it’s what you keep that matters).
He is spending tons of money on a super cool website AND on SEO marketing.
SEO marketing is how you pay to have your site rank high on the Google rankings list.
And it costs A LOT of money.
I once paid over $4,000 over a 3 month period to get traffic and got some luke warm leads. Not one listing.
Now, if you are an expert on SEO and know what you’re doing, go for it. I am saying it doesn’t work.
But for 80 IQ cats like me, you can burn through A LOT of money before you know what hits you.
That’s why I say, keep it simple. I am of the school of thought that you don’t have to spend a lot to get listings.
Talk to people. Build relationships. Get on the phone each day. Find ways to prospect that you actually enjoy and are good at.
That’s how you build a lean listing machine.
