Hope you are having a great end of the week. One of my mentors had me rolling on the floor laughing about something so funny that we embarrassed ourselves from laughing so loud at lunch.
And this got me thinking and reminding me of something one of the members in the “Collective” just recently said this week.
Take someone you admire to lunch.
I have always said if you want to learn how to play tennis, play with someone better than you.
And this applies to your real estate business as well.
If you want to be an Epic listing agent, hang out with other Epic listing agents.
And one of the easiest ways to do this to get out of your comfort zone and invite a super successful listing agent to lunch.
Listen, you may not feel comfortable doing this, inviting someone to lunch you don’t know, but I used to do this all the time and they love it.
They feel honored and flattered to receive the following message: “Hi Cindy, this is Chris with Compass Real Estate and I have really admired you and the way you do your business and I was wondering if I can take you to lunch at your convenience and ask you some questions?”
Who wouldn’t want to receive that message?
You are stroking their ego. They get a free lunch. And I believe that most people are good and want to help others.
And if you don’t want to do it with a listing agent in your marketplace, do it with a listing agent in the next town over.
This is a super fun way to learn more.
Get motivated.
Eat lunch with someone cool.
Make a new friend.
And get inspired.
