Back to back appointments today with sellers and crazy contractors, so wanted to remind me and everyone that it’s super important to do one thing now that we’re in the middle of July (do you believe this year has gone so fast?).
Review your results.
I know business planning is a super fun thing for you to do each month….NOT!
But this is the best time to review your results now that you are halfway through your year.
Where did you listings come from?
What did you do well?
What do you need to work on?
What prospecting methods worked for you and what is a waste of your time?
Take the time now to figure out what is working in your business and what’s not working.
There’s no sense bitching about your results at year end when can you make tweaks to your business now halfway through the year.
I have been reviewing my results so far this year and I am unhappy with a couple of areas my business.
And in full disclosure, one of the areas I need to step up is calling my probate attorneys. I have been traveling quite a bit and have neglected these bad boys in the last few months.
Listen, no one is perfect and we all have our strengths and our weaknesses. Things go well in some areas and not so well in other areas.
Doesn’t it make sense to take the time now and figure that out instead of waiting till year end wondering why you have no money to buy your kids a year-end holiday toy?
Ok, that was random, but you get my point. 🙂
