One of the great things we love about Panama is that it’s such an international city. You can meet people from all over the world who call it home. Especially people from Europe, Canada, U.S. and South America. This means they have great restaurants which, of course, is important to us. From 5-star gourmet places to corner street vendors, the food is “dope” as they say.
And you know what else is dope?
Getting repeat referrals to listings.
And one thing Unleashed listing agents know, is that to get repeat referrals, you have to take care of your referral sources.
What does that mean, you ask?
One thing that is imperative, is to ALWAYS write a thank you to the person that gave you a referral. And I mean an old fashioned hand note. Not an email. Not a text or a call. A hand note.
And then, I always include a $20 Starbucks gift card. It’s a small price to pay for someone going out of their way to get you business.
And then, make sure you designate that person in your CRM or your SOI somehow that they are a referral source. I tag my referral sources as such.
And then, call those bad boys more often than your regular SOI calls. I personally touch them once a month by calls, texts, notes, emails, lunches, dinners, you get the idea.
The point is you have to take good care of them, coddle them, glorify them, because that’s how you get repeat referrals.
Don’t take them for granted.
Because repeat referrals can be the lifeblood of your Unleashed business.
