Hope you are having a powerful week so far! I am really staying focused on eating a super chill and healthy diet lately. I have realized that the quantity of food I need is very little, imagine that? One other thing I want to share with you is a marketing method that many of us in the business a long time have forgotten to use.
With all the high tech ads and marketing we can do nowadays, I have almost forgotten mailings. They are a low-tech way to make a difference, and they are making a comeback.
Just helped my assistant put out a large scale mailing we are doing to a certain neighborhood.
And there is no quantitative reason I selected this one block near a listing I have. I just anecdotally heard that 2 people on the block were thinking of selling but didn’t have their addresses.
So we mailed our pre-listing packets to every owner on that block along with a signed letter telling the owner how stunning we are. And then we uploaded these owners into my CRM and will follow up with them.
I will let you know if anything comes of it.
But we have also stepped up our postcard mailings to our past clients, seller referral sources and seller prospects and have gotten quite a few leads from them.
And again, the key is consistency. One can’t just do one mailing and then forget it. Commit to a plan where you do a mailing every month or every other month (which is what we do),
It’s low tech, but it does work and really supplements your SOI calls.
