Packing boxes and getting ready for our big move next week. I am trying to consistently pack a couple of boxes a day.
Speaking of consistency, what I would really appreciate, is for you to do as I say and not as I do. 🙁
I am always preaching consistency in YOUR marketing to become that Unleashed listing agent. And what do I do? I didn’t call any expireds in the last couple of weeks which are pretty key to a good segment of my business.
So this morning, I turned on the old computer and found that I have 51 expired follow up calls. Oh oh. I can give you all kinds of reasons why I didn’t call them. But hell, you have heard them all. You probably think you invented some of your excuses. But there is no excuse worth dropping the ball to become the best listing agent you can be.
So what am I going to do? Make myself a big pot of tea (herbal, no caffeine), turn on some loud Beyonce and plow through those expireds. I “gots” to get them all called this week.
So do as I say and be really committed to your business this year. Whatever your prospecting method of choice is, really take this thing seriously. So many of us, myself included, rationalize our ways out of doing a CONSISTENT and COMMITTED prospecting session for new listings.
Is it the kids have to get to school?
Is it your back hurts?
Is it your goldfish died?
Whatever it is, figure it out. Have fun with it. Make a game out of it. Get an accountability partner. Develop a new habit.
