I did something very bad when I was in Atlanta last weekend. Being someone who prides myself and being “vegan-ish”, I am very careful about what I eat and drink. But this one took the cake.
I ate fried chicken.
OMG, it was so good! When in the South….!
And there is a very key, very critical daily habit that if you don’t do, then your business is crap.
Being consistent in your marketing to get listings.
I was reminded of this after not marketing for 4 days while away and came back to 37 people in my SOI that I have to call to reconnect and ask for referrals.
You see, I try to call my SOI and my expired listings every single day Monday to Friday between 8 and 10:30 a.m.
Sure, there are some days when this doesn’t happen, usually when I am sick or traveling.
But I am to the point where I feel terrible if I don’t make those calls every day, five days a week.
After my exercise, journaling, goal setting and eating a healthy breakfast, there NOTHING more important to me then this sacred time.
You may do your marketing at different times during the day. I don’t care when you do it.
But you have to do it religiously and consistently every day to fill your pipeline.
And it’s ok to get to the point where you feel bad if you don’t do it.
Make this one of your most important habits of the day.
And I know you have kids, wives, husbands, boyfriends, cars that break down, life that gets in the way.
Figure it out.
This is what entrepreneurs do.
This is what Epic listing agents do.
This is what successful people do.
Now I need to get back to calling my SOI.
