And another cool trick one of my clients is doing to get listings is to send out a little gift to all their closings in 2017.
Think about it, for all your closings in 2017, those clients of yours are going crazy with taxes now or will be shortly. And what if you helped them?
So contact each title company if you don’t have their closing statements and get them all for each closing last year. Then mail them out to your clients with a nice note explaining that your sending these to them for their tax return preparation.
Here is the key: CALL them all a week later (great excuse to call) and make sure they received them, receive their thanks, and tell them if there is anything else you can do for them, to call you and then, “Oh, and by the way, if you know anyone else selling, please let me know”.
I have done this in the past and don’t know why I stopped. But I got a listing out of it and so does my Top Producing Blueprint Course client I mentioned above. He told me that he normally gets at least one listing lead from doing this.
Again, very easy to do, costs almost nothing, and you are a major “stud” or “studess” in your client’s eyes.
To me, this is a no-brainer.
So get cracking on this asap! And now I am out to see some more properties.
