Networking with other local businesses to form mutually beneficial partnerships is a great way to increase your SOI and get more referrals.
Co-host happy hours, send gifts to clients or leads, and form local alliances that will help you go far.
Here are a few businesses that I have worked with in the past that have given me some great referrals:

- Contractors
- Personal bankers
- Commercial lenders
- Bakeries
- Landscapers
- Cleaning services
- Stagers
- Title companies
You can use your imagination with all kinds of businesses. Give them referrals and business and cement that relationship.
I once received a big fat listing from an insurance broker that I used personally and had continued to give referrals to.
I have given so many referrals to my contractor that I am his go-to listing agent when he hears of his clients’ selling.
So partner up! Find businesses that you love and start that productive relationship right away!
