Social media is either a curse or a blessing.
It all depends on how you use it.
I personally think it should be used for business purposes to get leads. Period.
Occasionally I will post personal stuff on social media, but not often.
You want more time in your day? Shut off Facebook.
People get too engrossed in social media and spend hours trying to gain validation from others about their life. There, I said it.
We don’t need to know what your dinner looks like, or need to see pictures of your foot that your cut badly, or how gorgeous you look with 15 pictures a day of your body. Come on, get a life.
I know, there are going to be a lot of people mad at me, but you can save your shit-o-grams.
Social media has a real place in building your brand, getting leads and getting listings.
And if you know what you’re doing, great! Go for it and use IG, FB, Twitter, etc. in a measured way to get you business.
And if you don’t know what you’re doing, hire someone like Tyler Kallenbach who’s an amazing social media consultant.
So, increase your self-esteem, take back your power and get more time in your day by chilling out with the social media.
I truly believe in you, love you and know that you’re a good person. And no, I don’t need to see 17 photos of your puppy.
