OMG, just had a weird conversation with an ego-maniac.  Seriously, this listing agent was a whack-job.  This man has had more plastic surgery done than Joan Rivers.  His clothes are super flashy, like really tacky flashy.

He wanted to join the Collective and I refused him.

Aside from his crazy appearance and his weird-ass mannerisms, there was one thing that really turned me off.

His incessant talking about how great he was.

I am the most non-judgmental person you will meet.

I really don’t care if you are flashy, don’t care if you have 8 wives, don’t care if you have plastic surgery, don’t care if you have a huge Cadillac with bull horns on the front.

But the one thing that, I believe, turns off clients and sure as hell turns me off is a person’s lack of humility.

I am successful in many areas of my life.  I am not that successful in some areas.  I always need to improve.  I am self-deprecating and love making fun of myself.  I am not perfect, far from it. But I do believe I am humble.

I have learned to not take people and situations too seriously.  And that goes for me as well.

I have a warped sense of humor and an addictive personality, both of which I need to strongly monitor.  I am goofy as hell looking but think I am handsome (don’t know where that came from).

My point is sellers like real.  They like genuine.  They like humble.  They like sincere.  And yes, they like humor.

So have humility in this business. 

It will take you far.

And it will get you more listings.
