I’m in Detroit this weekend visiting dear old Dad.  He just had heart surgery and is doing quite well.  And just off the phone with one of my dear friends, how moved from San Francisco to a gorgeous mountain-top home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  She is in her mid-70s and still runs a very successful 14 office specialty clinic in California.  She is so determined to keep it going even though she could easily retire and live a very comfortable life.

I asked her why she is so determined at this age?  

She told me she still has goals she needs to achieve.  A girl has to have goals, right?

Determination is so important in what you want to do with your life and especially with your listing business.

With determination and grit, we can accomplish anything with our Unleashed listing business.

Yet, after coaching many listing agents over the years, many talk a lot about what they want in their business, but they don’t always make it happen for a variety of reasons.

So I ask you.  How bad do you really want to achieve your listing goals?  

Many of us get distracted by many things including fear.

Do you know most successful people have the following traits:

•Most successful people are great at delaying gratification.

•Most successful people are great at withstanding temptation.

•Most successful people are great at overcoming fear in order to do what they need to do.

•Most successful people don’t set priorities; they do the things they decide are most important.

So really examine your listing business and ask yourself what you really want and what your WILLING to do to get it.  

Be honest with yourself.  

When you’re not honest with you, it only leads to major frustration.

Practice implementing the four points above. I know I do and sometimes it’s a real struggle.

But I have goals that HAVE to be met.
