Received three significant listings this week in the seven-figure range which I will be bringing on the market in September since our market is super slow in August. We aren’t a school-year driven market here so everyone takes time off in August. How is your August market?

A great system for tracking leads.
You have heard the expression, “the money is in the followup”?
If you haven’t, then you do know that sometimes it’s hard to get sellers to give you an appointment for the listing.
And many of us just shine it on and don’t follow up like we should with seller leads.
Epic listing agents have a kickass system to make sure their seller leads don’t fall between the cracks.
Doesn’t matter if you have a sophisticated CRM that reminds you each day of who to call or a bunch of index cards in a box that does the same thing. Both work.
So many of us, myself included, just reach for the low hanging fruit in calling new seller leads. It’s easy to get excited about new referrals, new expireds, new probates, etc.
What’s not as sexy is calling the leads 4, 5, or 8 times until they tell you to go “F” yourself or that they are for sure not selling.
But this is where the magic happens.
Of the three new listings we got, all three of them were from relentless pursuit. One of them is a seller I have been calling for over 3 years, 4 times a year.
The other listing was me calling the seller once a month for the past year.
So be relentless.
